Caped in Blue!

I picked up this vintage close pleated cape in Melbourne a few months ago, it was love at first sight. The fabric is soft and adds that extra touch to layering on a warm night. Here I paired it with a basic white tank top and a ceramic print shorts in blue&white. It could get cold in the trains, theatre and shopping malls and a simple statement layer not so thick would be good.

Morning Rush!

Happy Monday Dear ones!!!

How has your weekend been? This tiny red dot has been badly affected by haze since (PSI close to 400 on one day) since mid last week and the sky slowly started to clear up this weekend. It was good to breathe in fresh air and wake up to the chirping of the birds this Monday morning.

Moving on to my outfit for work: stripes is my 'new uniform' these past couple of days. I pair them with my statement skirts and add more colours with my shoes and jewelry. Viola! I am all set to beat the Monday Blues.

Sunday Bloom!

Floral prints are all over the stores this season, I have been looking out for the right piece for a very long time and even thought about getting it in a full suit. I walked in and out of stores and finally sat down for some online shopping at my favorite store ModCloth. This piece had been in my Love List for a long time and I just couldn't bare to be without it.

I paired the skirt with a striped tee that I had been wearing repeatedly the past week and just before putting it for washing I decided to wear for one last hoorah!!!

Summer Heat!

A visit to the flea market on a sunny Sunday afternoon called for these Bermudas. This piece is a bonus in my wardrobe especially during this hot summer day. They could be easily worn with a basic tee or a tank top for shopping trips downtown or even head to dinner dates with that special someone in a pair of contrasting colored heels.
