This post was meant to be posted on Diwali. Due to my busy days at work I just didn't have the time. Our festivities have begun and this is the time to get all decked up. On this festive season of lights I wore this lawn fabric, gorgeous piece that I purchased few months ago from ZAUQ.
What attracted me to this suit was the rich colours, the white embroidery work,the design and the fabric. I get my hair down, I wear the most elegant dress, I have my heels on and I have the rain. I have WHAT??? Dressing up for an event and it had to RAIN!!!
Never the less that doesn't stop me from having fun. But, it did stop me from letting my hair down.
This dress is my favorite from the designer BB Dakota. I love the volume and the pleats that has been added to the skirt, the perfect one for a dance floor. On this day I wanted the over all look to be relaxed. I paired this with my grey sweater and cinched my waist with a belt. I have to blame the rain for my hair.

Have you ever been in a situation where by you have too many clothes and just don't know what to wear for a party or launch event? It happened to me!! There are days when I feel I just don't have the basics or I don't have this or that. Well usually such things happens to me on weekdays when I stand in front of my cupboard early morning spending 15-20 minutes thinking what do I wear/ what inspires me/ what is the weather like today. This was my situation and look what I chose to wear.
My girl friend and I went to a launch party for JW Anderson x Topshop. Did you guys manage to take a look at his collection at the Topshop website? Well, do take a look especially at the print on print and fun/ quirky sweaters that are so in these days. My love would definitely be the quilted paisley tee and the matching skirt. I haven't bought any from his collection yet. (WELL I MAY) Let's see what my bank has to say about that :)
