The Smiley Face!

I know its been a week since I've been back from Perth but I just can't get it out of my system. Now I have a special place to bring to my readers the Perth Upmarket, I did mention it in a previous post telling you guys to check it out if ever you visit Western Australia. So here is one of the many reasons why you shouldn't miss this special place.

When I started strolling around this market I stopped myself at this stall that had the cutest of tees with different designs for women, men, kids and babies. I couldn't help but stop by as the T-shirts were pulling me like some sort of magnet. The price was not too shabby either (AUD 30 and 10% of all profits goes to The Centre for Cerebral Palsy in Western Australia).

But the real specialty about these tees are that they are designed by a handsome young man named Daniel Pavlovic who is at the front of his stall and greets you with a big smile. It was so amazing to see his skills and with the challenges he faces on a daily basis there was still that big smile on his face which made me come back to his stall and buy this tee. Read out more about him and his team here: http://danielink.com.au

This city, the people, the weather just inspires me everyday I look at my wardrobe and instantly, a smiley face and a Happy me.

Double Dosage!

Mixing prints has been a huge trend for a while and is here to stay. This style could be very tricky to pull of at times, but the whole idea is to have fun and be adventurous. My secret to this trend is to have the colors (lots of them) and prints from the same family and keep your accessories simple.

As my favorite fashionista once said: “Over the years I have learned that what is important in a dress is the woman who is wearing it.”

All I need is a ray of Sunshine!

I am back in Singapore after a beautiful week spent in Perth the only thing that was topsy turvy on this trip was the unpredictable weather, which actually is how I like my blogpost to be to readers "unpredictable". I was expecting Spring which is "supposed to be" warm weather, instead it's been an extended Winter with heavy rain and strong winds but that didn't stop me from going out and exploring my surroundings. The weather was unpredictable each day, it rained for an hour and then out came the sun and dried up all the rain for few a seconds and then another downpour. This has been the routine for the time I spent in Perth.

But the weather didn't stop me from doing what I love the most bringing a bit a sunshine to a cloudy day!!!!

Perth Upmarket!

I am in Perth for a week, that is the reason for the leave of absence. I thought I would take the time to feed you in a bit about my Perth holiday. Its spring here and the weather could be sunny one minute and gloomy the next, its a welcomed change of scenary for this Singaporean girl I must say.

This Sunday, my bestie and her fiancĂ© brought me to the Perth Upmarket which happens at the University of Western Australia this market brings together over 150 of Perth’s most talented artists, designers, craftsmen and gourmets all under one roof. If you guys ever visit do check this place out as they have an array of products that would tantalize your inner fashionista's taste buds. In my up coming blogpost I will be sharing the many wonderful gems Perth has to offer.

The Uncommon!

I am a lover of The Uncommon. I love styles that are unique, one of a kind and pieces that are not largely worn around. This piece was picked up from the limited edition at Miss Selfridge, there are questions raised when one picks such pieces as many tend to take this attire as a brides gown or even for a halloween party.

I wore this dress for our Wedding Anniversary dinner with friends and as a tradition between us, I just asked a friend to help us shoot few pictures. I am loving this dress even more as I look at these pictures.
